I was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma at 31 years old when I was 31 weeks pregnant. I had 2 chemo rounds while still pregnant and 6 chemo rounds after delivery. This picture is from my last day of chemotherapy with my husband and beautiful, perfect, HEALTHY son. Final PET scan to come next Monday
The picture on the left is me celebrating my last day of chemo with my boyfriend. And the picture on the right is me marrying him almost exactly one year later.

In 2003 I noticed a lump in my throat which led to learning I had Neck & Throat cancer at age 59. After radical radiation treatments and some mental adjustments I realized one must be positive and fight to live! On the one year anniversary of my survival I vowed to live each day as if it were the last day of my life. Cruising, motorcycle trips, and just enjoying & loving family & friends!
Diagnosed at 16, I'm now 18! 10 months of chemo and loads of operations--A year cancer free!!
I was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer in 2009. 5 years cancer free! At the NOCC Walk to Break the Silence on Ovarian Cancer with my wonderful team. We walk to increase awareness and to beat this terrible disease. I am very lucky to have a great team including one team member whose aunt is a 20 + year Ovarian Cancer survivor!
I was diagnosed with Hodgkin's in November, 1976 (Senior year in High School). I was originally given a 30 percent chance to just survive the surgery. Being a teenager, I was stubborn and refused to give in. I had too much life left to live. In this picture are my wife and 4 kids. My attitude towards life (and skill of my Oncologist) allowed me to meet the love of my life, and she bore these 4 greats kids for us. Since this photo was taken, I have been diagnosed with Prostate Cancer. No sweat!
I'm a 45 year old male who is days away from 5 years free of cancer. I was dx'd with stage 3 rectal cancer. I deal with other health problems as well. When I was dx'd I found a calendar of survivors & happened to find one month of a gentleman who shared the same surgeries, colostomy bag as I did. I hope to pay it forward and that one person will see my pic and perhaps help somebody who is just starting their battle. Ty for the opportunity.
The first picture shows me during december while going through my last chemo, the second shows me 3 months later. I worked hard during my remmision time. Now I am for 6 months cancer free.
I am a two time cancer survivor. First, in 1991 I survived Hodgekins Lymphoma. In 2014, I survived Breast Cancer. There is life after chemo!

Diagnosed with stage 3 lymphoma cancer, between large B cell and burketts, underwent in-hospital stay chemotherapy - four 21 day cycles and as of 3-26-14 no cancer detected, now just dealing with the severe side affects of intense chemo treatment but thankful to be alive.
Hello! My name's Alice - I was diagnosed with osteosarcoma (bone cancer) in my left leg a month before my 15th birthday in 2008. After nine months of chemo & an operation on my leg, I learned to walk again, grew my hair really long & I'm currently studying for a Masters in Creative Writing in London. I also set up a website called www.thosethreewords.co.uk which tells more of my story & offers advice to those going through cancer treatment at the moment! :)
This photo is after my bi-lateral mastectomy and reconstruction but before chemo. Shaved my head to get ready for it.

My 9 month battle with Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma is finally over!! It's been a long journey with few ups and many very deep downs but I've found jewels along the way that I will NEVER forget. Once I got home from the hospital all I wanted to do was jump up and down with joy.......and so that's what I did!

111 days progress 👍 Amazing to see the difference over the last 3 months. You can even see the dramatic change chemotherapy had on my skin tone. Back to when I had my Hickmans Catheter in my chest 👎 Very very interesting, what do you guys think? ☺

Congratulations @lrolfe4 we are so happy and inspired by you! #repost ・・・ @oneyearafterchemo this is me (red hat in the front) just a week shy of my 2nd Cancer free anniversary! I was a runner and a non-smoker diagnosed with lung cancer in April of 2013. Lung surgery, and a summer of chemotherapy and look at me now! I can no longer run the way I used to, so my friend ran the Boston Marathon (twice) for me -- raising money for Dana Farber!

March 2014 I was diagnosed with cancer. After a double mastectomy, chemo started in April. I tried to walk or run every day. The fresh air/exercise made me feel I had some control over my well being and helped keep my mind clear and optimistic. Though I got slower as treatment progressed, several months after chemo, I started feeling like myself again (despite the doubts I had about that happening). In March 2015, I ran in the Philly Love Run Half Marathon and I finished 10th in my age group!" -Rosalie H Upload your photo to the link in our bio to participate!
This picture has always been special to me for many reasons. It was taken a year after my breast cancer diagnosis and four months after my final reconstruction surgery. I am surround by my friends, each of us with our toenails painted red - and for a good reason. Before my first surgery, I painted my toenails red with the idea that it would let the good Chi in. Needless to say, my girlfriends did the same!
